The threat of negative climate change and environmental degradation have prompted the European Community to launch a series of “Green Programs” aimed at minimizing the impact of man-made activities on nature. In parallel, these programs aim to achieve sustainable development of the European economy. An important element of the Green Initiatives is the use of hydrogen as a means of accumulating energy and process gas, which does not have a negative impact on the environment.
The Hydrogen Technologies Center was established at the Gas Institute conducts research on promising hydrogen technologies, ways and means of implementing European “Green Initiatives” for the benefit of the Ukrainian economy and society.
