- coordination of work in the areas of production, preparation, storage, transportation and use of hydrogen in industry, energy, household and transport, providing advisory recommendations and expert opinions;
- search for partners in Ukraine, the EU and the world to develop areas of work, funding and implementation of research, as well as the practical implementation of their results;
- presentation of research results and analytical materials, expansion of ties of scientists of the institute with leading specialists of profile Ukrainian and foreign organizations;
- creation of a bank of the most promising and acceptable technologies for the production, storage, transportation and use of hydrogen;
- development of concepts and technologies for efficient use of hydrogen.
