Project content: conversion systems on compressed natural gas of carriers equipped by gasoline and diesel engines.
Project content
for gasoline engines – the double-fuel feed system is worked out. Mentioned system has two autonomous feed systems for gasoline or natural gas supply correspondingly. The switching of corresponding system is realized by switching key. Gasoline system is regular. The natural gas feed system is composed of high-pressure cylinders, main line electromagnetic valve and specially worked-out high-pressure reducer of membrane-weight type;
for diesel engines – the double-fuel feed system is worked out. Mentioned system provides its operations both for diesel and gas-diesel cyclic processes. Main detail units of reequipped diesel engine system in gas-diesel engine are following: gas cylinders, high pressure and low pressure reducers, electromagnetic valve with filter and special devices for gas flow-rate control, ignition dose of diesel fuel feed and engine protection against rotation frequency excessive increase. Gas-diesel cyclic process utilization promotes diesel fuel flow-rate reduction on 70-80% as a result of its substitution by gas fuel.
