Thermal neutralization of phenolic water and other liquid harmful impurities of oil refining and chemical enterprises.
Neutralization is carried out by heat treatment of liquid harmful impurities sprayed with water using devices for combustion of gaseous fuel. Nominal thermal capacity of the device for thermal neutralization – 2500 MW, specific gas consumption – 3-5 m3/kg, pressure of phenolic water (or other liquid harmful impurities – 0.6 MPa), temperature in the furnace chamber – 1000 °C.
In contrast to the known methods for high-temperature neutralization of phenolic water at oil refineries, only waste gas from oil refining is used, which is usually burned in dozens of flare facilities, which provides opportunities for significant savings due to the abandonment of the use of diesel fuel, steam and the construction of a furnace of a special design.
Development readiness level
Development is implemented at the Kremenchug Refinery. The manufacture of equipment, commissioning, as well as warranty service and staff training are carried out to order.
