The Directorate and the Trade Union Committee of the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine note with deep regret that on December 29, 2020, at the age of eighty-two, the director of the institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy Sciences of Ukraine.
We express our deepest condolences to the relatives, friends and colleagues of the deceased. The bright memory of Boris Ivanovych, an outstanding scientist, talented leader and teacher, sensitive and benevolent man will forever remain in our hearts.
Due to the current circumstances, the defense of the thesis will take place on December 10, 2020 at 14:00 online.

Not only an outstanding scientist and organizer left us, but
the person who has made an invaluable contribution to
the development of Ukraine and human civilization. His unwavering optimism and thirst for knowledge were passed on to others
who charging with selfless working and of new discoveries.
On September 28 at the Institute of Gas of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (the NASU) a round table was held on the topic “Prospects for the implementation of innovations in the nuclear power industry of Ukraine”. I. Sikorsky (further NTUU “KPI” named after I. Sikorsky), Institute of problems of mathematical machines and systems of NASU, Commodum engineering Ltd.
