On September 5, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute of Higher Education “Podilskyi State University” in the person of the rector Volodymyr IVANIYHYN, the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the person of Hennadiy ZHUK and the International Center of Gas Technologies LLC in the person of Dmytro KOMISSARENKO. This step makes it possible to carry out intentions for global research in the field of organic waste processing, obtaining biogas, obtaining biomethane and carbon dioxide, solving a number of environmental problems on the basis of enterprises and in the energy sector.
On the basis of the proposed projects, we will be able to provide high-quality training of higher education specialists who will work in the areas of alternative energy, engineering and ecology. Scientific and pedagogical workers have a new opportunity to improve their skills in this area and apply them in the development of educational and scientific programs.
The guests got acquainted with the work of our laboratories and made sure that our specialists have the opportunity to work on the latest developments in the field of alternative energy. Serhii Yermakov, head of the educational and scientific laboratory “DAK GPS”, conducted a tour of the laboratory, which specifically works in the direction of biomass research and its transformation into alternative energy products.
